At the end of last year I quit my cushy marketing job to follow my dreams in 2013. Starting off with a six month trip overseas before coming back home to take part in a holistic nutrition diploma. Unfortunately because of last minute timing and trying to jump through visa holes, I’ve had to cut down my trip to three months instead. I will be starting off hopping around the US of A before jet sailing over to Europe. It’s getting close and I’m getting really nervous and excited!
Have you been to any of the above cities? Any food or tea places a must see? I would love feedback!
I can’t WAIT for you to be here! You’ll have to let me know what you think of Pittsburgh, too. I’m looking forward to our adventures in Columbus and NYC.
YESSSSSS. I’ve only ever been to NYC (and Columbus, obviously) out of those 5 but I’m extremely excited to spend 6 full days with you!!
Had an amazing meal at Cotogna in San Francisco this summer, and a couple of standout meals in NYC last year at Paulie G’s in Brooklyn (Napoli style pizza) and ABC Kitchen. Check out the resto list from my blogging partner Dara’s previous blog (from when she was living in NYC last year): http://livetoeatlovetocook.wordpress.com/restaurants/
Looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your adventures at the FBC conference!
You should check out Meat & Potatoes and the Six Penn Kitchen in Pittsburgh. Both are outstanding.
And one more thing…. Pies and Pints is an outstanding pizza place and I saw that you are paleo, so you might not think about it but they offer great ciders and their greek salad is WONDERFUL. The large one is shareable among friends.
Thank Amanda for the recommendations
